Tim Marlow is an independent consultant specialising in Connected & Autonomous Mobility and its impact on the insurance industry. Formerly Head of Autonomous & Connected Vehicle Research at Ageas UK, he has co-authored a number of insurance industry documents on automated vehicles, was part of group advising the Government on the drafting of the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act and contributed extensively to the Law Commission’s recent automated vehicles consultation.
Tim has extensive knowledge and experience of developments in automotive technology and the associated legal and regulatory framework. He has spent four decades in the insurance industry, holding senior positions at a number of companies including Hiscox and Capita and helping to set up and launch what became the UK’s largest telematics insurance operation at Insure The Box.
David has over 30 years' experience in General Insurance, roles including Chief Commercial Underwriter at one of AXA's largest branches, Reinsurance Manager, Casualty Insurance Manager, before moving to claims in 2003. After leading AXA's Personal & Commercial Claims Teams, David returned to Underwriting as Managing Director, Underwriting, and now has a broader role reporting in to CEO Brendan McCafferty, as part of the newly recombined AXA general insurance businesses in the UK
He was heavily involved in the government and ABI responses to the ‘Liability Crisis' way back just after the Access to Justice Act, and continues his lobbying work as the insurance industry looks to remove unnecessary costs and delay from the current adversarial compensation process. He is an outspoken critic of Claims Farming, Credit Hire, High Legal Costs and exaggerated Whiplash Claims.
As well as operating at an Executive level within AXA Insurance, David is a Non Executive Director of AXA Assistance UK, Vice President of the CII and Chair of the CII Underwriting Faculty. He is Chair of the recently formed Autonomous Driving Insurance Group and RISCAuthority, was previously a member of the National Stakeholder Council for the Governments ‘Workplace Health Connect' initiative during its currency, and was a Director of Thatcham, the Insurance Industry Motor Vehicle Research Institute for four years.
He is a member of various AXA Group Boards and has represented the UK on Asbestos, Health, Pollution and Fraud issues. He speaks regularly at conferences and other events in the UK and Europe on a variety of subjects including most recently, improving customer service, flooding, climate change, Big Data & Driverless cars
David has also appeared on BBC Breakfast TV, Sky, Channel 4 and BBC News, as well as Radio 4's ‘Today' Programme, being interviewed on topics varying from Compensation Culture to Business Crime.

Graeme began his career in broking in 1989 and he joined BIBA in 2001. Graeme heads up the BIBA Policy Team which incorporates corporate affairs, technical services and communications and sits on the main BIBA board. He personally leads BIBA’s public affairs lobby with Government, having given written and oral evidence to the House of Commons and the House of Lords and he is the author of the BIBA Manifesto. He is regularly a source of expertise for journalists and often appears on radio and TV programmes promoting UK insurance brokers and the benefits of insurance. He sits on BIBA’s Insurance Brokers’ Standards and Brexit Committees as well as on the CBI Trade Association Council, Insurance Fraud Taskforce and the SEUK TrustSeal Expert Advisory Panel. He also participates in many industry/Government joint working groups and panels. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

David Wong is Senior Technology and Innovation Manager at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the UK's automotive industry trade body. Established in 1902, SMMT acts as the voice of the UK automotive industry by supporting and promoting the interests of more than 700 member companies at home and abroad.
David runs SMMT's technology and innovation portfolio which includes connected and autonomous vehicles, electro-mobility, hydrogen-mobility, digital and mobility innovation, and design engineering. He sits on the UK Automotive Council Technology Group, a government-industry partnership that sets strategic priorities and technology roadmaps for the automotive industry; the UK Government's Future Communications Challenge Group; and the board of Cenex, a low-carbon technology consultancy.
David was previously Business Models Co-Creator and Head of Organisations & Business Models Research at the Big Innovation Centre, a big business-funded innovation hub, where he advised private and public sector clients on business model innovation, value proposition development, innovation strategy and open innovation projects.

Jon is the Director of Underwriting, motor for QBE European operations. Joining recently from Allianz Insurance where he led the UK Commercial Motor portfolio for the past 8 years. Previous to Allianz Jon held leadership positions in a Lloyds syndicate on both UK and overseas business.
As well as an established underwriting portfolio manager Jon has and continues to represents Motor insurers on a number of industry bodies.
Recently appointed as Managing Director for Marmalade – the leading telematics insurance and car provider for young drivers - Paul has over 20 years’ experience in General Insurance across a range of disciplines including: product development, insurance pricing, underwriting and cross functional team management. Paul has a vast amount of experience managing major personal line products, developing new insurance brands and leading established brands such as Direct Line, Tesco Bank and Chaucer Insurance.
Frederic Bruneteau has become one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of insurance telematics and connected vehicle services, having performed over 50 strategy consulting assignments in that domain for global leaders such as Allianz, Aioi Nissay Dowa, ESRI, Generali, Liberty Mutual, Michelin, Qualcomm and Toyota.
Frederic uses his 20 years of experience in mobility services to help leading players design strategies and value propositions around geo-connected mobility.
His specific fields of expertise include: insurance telematics, road charging, fleet telematics, fleet management services, CAAS (Car-As-A-Service), ADAS, the autonomous vehicle, smartphone location-based apps and services, connected navigation, traffic information and m-health.
A frequent speaker at telematics, location-based services and Internet of Things (IoT) conferences globally, he is also often quoted by both mainstream and trade publications such as The Economist, Reuters, TU-Automotive and GPS Business News.
Before PTOLEMUS, he was managing TOMTOM INTERNATIONAL’s Content & Services Product Line in Amsterdam. He defined the company’s worldwide strategy and product development for maps, traffic, points of interests, local search, speed cameras, etc.
Previously, Frederic was working with VODAFONE / SFR in Paris. He assumed several management responsibilities including Director of WiFi / WiMax Marketing & Sales and Head of Multimedia Strategy & Programme Management.
Mr. Bruneteau has also worked as a Senior Consultant specialised in mobile telecommunications with ARTHUR D. LITTLE in London and as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst with BNP PARIBAS in New York.
